Monetary donations are greatly needed now, Kennel Manager Krystle Smith said Wednesday. Both the thrift store and kennel, 701 and 703 E. McGaffey St., cut their hours in December, each opening one day less a week.

Copyright © 2021 Roswell Daily Record Terry Davis was welcomed home to spend eternity with our lord and savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. He was born on June 2, 1948 in Memphis, TN. God blessed Terry and his brother, Ronnie, with their adoptive parents, Milton and Lois Davis who preceded Terry in death. At a young age, Terry excelled at everything he did. His motto was “Do it right, or don’t do it at all!” Terry did it right! He graduated from Roswell High School in 1967 and then attended the New Mexico Military Institute where he was involved with the drill team and a troop leader before joining the U.S. Navy. These experiences led him to his lifelong career in law enforcement. Terry joined the Roswell Police Department in 1974 and retired from his dream job in 1997 after 23 years. During that time, Terry’s love for owning and riding motorcycles, and even the television show “Chips,” fueled his passion to have a motorcycle division at the police depar
