He said “northern drivers can put the shoe down” on this stretch of road, which is close to the border. He also said northern drivers are “not heeding speed limits.” Cllr Felim Gurn agreed with him. Kinlough Cllr Justin Warnock however said the blame should not be laid at northern drivers and told the members to refrain from “blaming our brethren.”

Reward offered for missing sheep in Rossinver Ten sheep missing from Rossinver Reporter: );   ); Rossinver farmer, Michael Feely is extremely worried about ten of his ewes, which are lambing at this time, that have been missing from his land now for two to three weeks. Michael is further concerned for his sheep, as he strongly suspects that they have been stolen. He is offering a generous reward for any information that will lead to the recovery of his ewes. In a Rossinver Youth and Community Project Facebook item last weekend, Mr Feely appealed for help, saying, “Hi everyone, hope some of you can help. I have 10 horn ewes missing from the Rossinver area for about 2-3 weeks now and have looked everywhere I can think.

Claims Leitrim man licked hands after assault stating ‘I love the taste of another man s blood’ Courts   ); A defendant who allegedly licked his bloody hands and declared “I love the taste of a man s blood” after a serious assault on a friend, has been ordered to return to court with €9,000 to pay for the dental treatment his victim now requires. Jason Boylan, Gubnageer, Rossinver, Co Leitrim faced a summons for assault causing harm to Ryan Kerins in Rossinver on July 14, 2019. It was noted that the defendant had already paid €2,000 towards the cost of emergency dental treatment following the assault but Manorhamilton District Court heard it will take a further €9,000 to pay for implants to be inserted in his victim s mouth.
