Port Authority extends free fares to riders another week

Good news for Pittsburgh-area residents who depend on public transportation. The Port Authority of Allegheny County has extended free fares on all vehicles through the end of service Sunday. Delays because of staffing shortages caused by the company’s vaccine mandate led to free fares being put in place last week.
