Leadership Changes at the United Way of Ross County
CHILLICOTHE United Way of Ross County President and CEO Rick W. Smith Sr. has announced his intention to resign from the position at the end of June. Smith has served as President and CEO since 2019, coming in the middle of the 2019-2020 United Way Annual Giving Campaign. Smith cites personal reasons for his decision. I have loved my time in Ross County and owe a great thanks to the Board of Trustees and the community. Smith adds, I will especially miss the outstanding staff and volunteers at United Way Ross. They work tirelessly to meet the needs of the citizens of Ross County. I am also very proud of the work we have done, including two successful Annual Campaigns and the creation of one of the first COVID-19 Relief Funds in the country. The United Way of Ross County successfully raised and distributed more than a half-million dollars
