Pastor slapped with third molest charge

GEORGE TOWN: A South Korean pastor who was charged with two counts of outraging the modesty of two men in Butterworth about two weeks ago has been slapped with another similar charge in a Magistrate’s Court here. However, the charge was not read out to Jee Jong Hoon, 54, who is speech- and hearing-impaired, as there was no international sign language interpreter available, and no plea was recorded yesterday. According to the charge, Jee is alleged to have used criminal force on a man who was then 20 years old by touching his private parts, hugging and kissing his cheek and lips with the intention to outrage his modesty at a house in Gelugor in 2000.
