Hume council will soon be under new leadership, with Sheena Frost today announced as the council’s next chief executive.
Mayor Joseph Haweil said that Ms Frost was a highly regarded leader in local government.
“I congratulate Ms Frost on her appointment to this important role in the Victorian local government sector and in our community,” Cr Haweil said.
“Her experience and track record speaks for itself with Ms Frost being recognised in 2019 as one of the Institute of Public Administration Australia’s Top 50 Public Sector Women.”
Ms Frost first started her working life as a communications specialist in the private and university sectors before joining local government in 2005.

Hume City Council appoints Roslyn Wai as interim CEO
Roslyn Wai has been appointed to the role of interim Chief Executive Officer at Hume City Council.
Her appointment follows the resignation of long-serving CEO Domenic Isola, who departs the Council today to explore new opportunities after 13 years in the position.
Roslyn joined Council in 2019 as Director, Communications Engagement and Advocacy – bringing 30 years’ experience working across the media, tertiary education and water sectors in public relations, community engagement, customer service, business management, strategy and governance.
Hume Mayor, Councillor Joseph Haweil, said Roslyn is an experienced leader who shares Council’s passion for delivering positive outcomes for the Hume community.
