Crews removed the iconic "Rosie's Diner' sign from atop a diner car near Rockford Friday morning. The diner car was featured in Bounty paper towel commercials in the 70s and 80s.
It was 1991 that a famous diner, made famous from TV commercials, moved into West Michigan, Rockford, to be exact, with a lot of excitement. It was called Rosie's Diner!
Rosie's Diner sits idle in Rockford, Michigan as commuters pass it by every day, some of them know of its long history, while others think it's just another failed business that had its doors closed on them.
