Craig Ballard – Robinson, IL

66-year-old Craig Ballard of Robinson, died May 25, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born November 26, 1954, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Carroll "Pap Shorty" & Dortha (Wheeler) Ballard. He grew up in the McLeansboro area, where his dad and siblings spent countless hours in the woods trapping. These years developed in him a love for the outdoors that he would hold for the rest of his life. Straight out of high school, he entered into the carpentry trade, work that led him and his oldest daughter, Amber, to Texas. Here, he met Susan Inboden, who he married in 1990. Not only did Craig work hard to support his young family financially, but he also used his carpentry talents to provide them with whatever they needed. In fact, the beds he made for his children were of such quality that they were able to be passed down to the next generation! 5/13/2021 2:52:30 PM Wood River Timothy W. Anderson, 61, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born Oct. 2, 1959 in Alton, he was the son of James W. and Christine (Combs) Anderson of Wanda. He loved his work, driving a truck for Schiber Truck Co., where he had worked for the past 16 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, golfing, camping at Coffeen Lake in his trailer, and loved fishing. He also was an accomplished handyman and craftsman. He married Rosemary Ballard Jan. 2, 1981 in Alton. She survives. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Rose Anderson of Wood River; his sister, Veronica (Charlie) Krome of Wood River; his nephew, Christopher Anderson-Krome of Olney, IL; and his sister-in-law, Cathy Ballard of Delhi. He was loved by many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
