At least New Zealand s top tourism marketer knew where he was starting from when he took the job: pretty much zero. New Tourism NZ boss Rene de Monchy is at the forefront of the drive to sell a redesigned and rebuilt industry that was once New Zealand s biggest export earner and a major employer.
