Among other things, Rose has been body-slammed at professional wrestling extravaganzas, participated in a cable-TV reality show (“Hits & Mrs.”), and made his belated gambling confession in a memoir released the same week as the Baseball Hall of Fame vote in January 2004, overshadowing the players elected that year.

The 2021 NFL Draft is officially in the books, and now comes the post-draft frenzy where all 32 NFL teams get into a mad rush to sign the guys that were not drafted over the course of the past few days but that they’d really like to have on their 90-man roster.

COVID-19 is sparking creativity in Christmas services across the Triangle. Many congregations are prioritizing the safety and health of their loved ones when creating their Christmas service plans.
Reverend Mycal Brickhouse says that Cary First Christian Church is holding a virtual Christmas Eve service to be a good neighbor. We are trying to be safe and follow the social distancing guidelines as best we can, Brickhouse said.
The state currently has a limit on indoor gatherings, but it does not apply to worship or religious gatherings. Health officials recommend faith leaders hold online gatherings for the holidays to limit community spread of the virus.
