compounded for one family. a husband dies from a heart attack days after his wife, a teacher, was killed in the attack. good morning, welcome to way too early. on this friday may 27th. i m jonathan lemere, thank you for joining us. we begin with the latest from uvalda. some of the key details provided by the texas officials in the first 48 hours of the attack have turned out to be an accurate. here is what has changed. texas officials first said that the attacker exchanged gunfire with a school resource officer before entering the school and then later said that the school resource officer engaged with the attacker, did not exchange gunfire. and yesterday officials changed the story. saying in fact that there was no school resource officer at all and that the killer walked into the school through an unlocked door, on obstructed, and simply began firing. the amount of time that the gunman spent outside before entering the building is also changed. we were initially told that
