Dapitan City and the entire province of Zamboanga del Norte are under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 based on Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 7 issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
