Jerel (Jerry) Lampl
The Family of Jerel (Jerry) Lampl announces with great sorrow his passing on January 19, 2021. He lived a happy, helpful and fun-filled life. He came to Kodiak, Alaska, in the early 1980s. He was a black belt in karate and a great sensei. He enjoyed teaching karate, aikido and judo. Martial arts were a great part of his life since he was 14 years old. This is where he met his wife Penny Lampl. He had his degree in commercial art and enjoyed lettering and painting designs on boats, cars and business signs. Jerry enjoyed working on cars and helping people. Poker was his favorite hobby. He never gave up the chance to do magic, pull a prank or make someone laugh.
