Southern Ohio Medical Center is hosting a free, virtual career fair for those interested in branching out into a new field. The event will outline the path to becoming a pharmacy technician, which can be navigated in as few as six months. The event will take place on February 23 at 6 p.m.
The pharmacy tech program is a unique career opportunity because you can go from trainee to Certified Technician in as little as 6 months.
You can also work and get paid as you go. Trainees’ are paid for the shifts they work in pharmacy to fulfill the required hours. Unlike other programs, when you complete the course work, you are certified in the state of Ohio and can work anywhere in the state. DJ Ten Walls dropped from music festivals for homophobic comments

Lithuanian producer and DJ, Ten Walls, was dropped from six different music festivals after making a homophobic post on Facebook on June 3. The post, which has since been deleted, likened homosexuality to pedophilia and called LGBT people “people of a different breed.”
The DJ, whose real name is Marijus Adomaitis, was dropped from HARD Summer, Sónar, Creamfields, Pukkelpop, Osheaga, PITCH and Urban Art Forms Festival.
He was also dropped from his booking agency Coda Music. A spokeswoman from the agency confirmed that they no longer represent him: “Coda Music Agency condemns all forms of discrimination based on race, religion or sexual orientation. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and to represent a hugely diverse roster of artists. We no longer represent Ten Walls.”
