(Screengrab from Cebu City PIO video) CEBU CITY - Mayor Michael Rama on Thursday announced "opening" the city for economic activities, removing major restrictions against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) under "shared responsibilities" in the new normal. In a press conference before the 85th Cebu City Charter Day ceremony, Rama cited the declaration of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) placing the capital city under the lower Alert Level 2 from February 16-28 as a basis for issuing the "open all" policy. Rama said in the order that all establishments and activities are now allowed to operate regardless of age and vaccination status, stressing, however, the continued observance of minimum public health standards.
