The Supreme Court on Friday issued an interim stay on criminal defamation proceedings initiated by IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri against IPS officer D Roopa Moudgil.
The Supreme Court on Thursday had suggested to IPS officer D Roopa that she delete her social media posts against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri or post a message expressing regret over the messages.
V.K. Sasikala Natarajan, AIADMK ex-general secretary and close associate of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, has filed a petition in the Karnataka High Court to quash the case against her in connection with alleged VIP treatment .
