Some of the biggest names in the K-Pop industry gathered on Friday, Dec. 18, for the 2020 KBS Song Festival.
KBS World made sure to treat its avid viewers and followers, especially during these challenging times, thru the 2020 KBS Song Festival. The network previously stated that the music event would take place sans a live audience to maintain everyone s safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
KBS World named the best K-Pop acts in 2020
Before the program proper, livestream host Kyu Choi shared the annual KBS World survey results. TREASURE was proclaimed as the Rookie Group of the Year, while BLACKPINK was named the Girl Group of the Year. For their part, BTS ranked the highest in three categories, namely: Artist of the Year, Boy Group of the Year, and Song of the Year for their hit single titled Dynamite.
