With robotics canceled, Blue Crew builds 3-D printers for science labs

FARMINGTON Science labs at Mt. Blue High School will have 3-D printers thanks to the efforts of Blue Crew, the school’s robotic team.
Blue Crew was formed in 2015 when students lobbied to have a team comprised of students from the high school and Foster Career and Technical Education Center in Farmington. The team competed in a FIRST Robotics Competition for the first time in Hartford, Connecticut, in April 2016. The team was part of the winning alliance and won the Rookie All-Star award.
