The Town Of Winslow Is Adding A Second Ambulance
According to Centralmaine.com, during their monthly meeting on Monday, the Winslow Town Council unanimously voted 7-0 to add a second ambulance.
Winslow Fire Chief Ronnie Rodriguez proposed the need for a second ambulance during the February meeting, stating that there is a need for more emergency transport vehicles in central Maine.
“There is a definite need within the community” for additional emergency transportation Rodriguez told the council. “We have a duty to our citizens for a continuity of service, and the only way to do so is with a second unit.”

During the bidding process, the town will request vendors submit proposals for buying or leasing a new ambulance, according to officials.
