Attorneys worked on the case for decades, showing there was jury tampering, that the detectives lied on the stand and hid evidence that would have freed Ronnie Long.
"We are deeply remorseful for the past wrongs that caused tremendous harm to Mr. Long, his family, friends, and our community," the city's statement read.
