A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting outside an apartment building in Petersburg Saturday afternoon, sources told CBS 6 senior reporter Wayne Covil.
But this was no ordinary graduation. The gym the graduation ceremony was taking place in was not at a high school or college. It was at the Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County. The graduates are state prison inmates who’ve taken online classes at Dyersburg State Community College.
