BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Michigan Tech hockey team got a score from six different players and came back in the win column on Tuesday (Feb. 2) with a 6-4 win at Ferris State. The Huskies improved to 9-5-1 overall and 3-2 in the WCHA.
“Ferris is a hard team to beat, especially on this track,” Tech coach Joe Shawhan said. “Together I thought we were playing well. We played hard and got better as the game progressed. I thought we were doing what we needed to get offensive zone pressure, and I thought our transition play was good too. We had a number of individual outages that we needed to deal with and we capitalized them and put them in the net. “
