Police have arrested four people in two separate cases filed over raping a 19-year-old woman and assaulting her husband in Sadar upazila of Panchagarh.
The wife filed a rape case and the husband (22) filed a case under the Pornography Act with the Panchagarh Police Station, Abu Akkas Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of the police station, told out correspondent.
The arrestees are Jainul Haque (25), Roni Islam (24), Nur Hossain (21) and Shahin Hossain (21) of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila, reports our Thakurgaon correspondent.
The OC said Jainul was made lone accused in the rape case while all four made accused in the other case filed under the Pornography Act.
