Violet Gloria ‘Vee’ Sabo Hayes
YORKTOWN Violet Gloria “Vee” Sabo Hayes, 92, passed away after a brief illness Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, from complications of COVID-19.
She was born to John and Mary Sabo, in 1928 in West Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. Vee graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1946 and attended Geneva College. Her parents and brothers, John and Tom, preceded her in death.
She married Jack Hayes in 1948. She was preceded in death by Jack and her daughter, Linda Tischler (Hank).
Vee is survived by Kathy of Loveland, Colorado, Jack (Connie) of Yorktown and Patrick (Kasey) of Pleasanton, California. She had seven grandchildren, Linda’s, Melissa and Ben; Kathy’s, Jessica; Jack’s, Emily (deceased); and Drew and Corinne and Pat’s, MykelPatrick. There are five great-grandchildren, Alexa and Linden (Melissa and Glenn), Oliver and Ronen (Ben and Alisha) and Sawyer (Jessica and Alex). She leaves, also, many cherished nieces and nephews.
