back. i mean, this had always been a turnout operation for the newsom campaign. if democrats came out in any significant numbers, it s difficult for republicans to out maneuver them or tip the balance toward recalling newsom. it has always been an effort to get democrats out. a big part has been asking big-name democrats, obama, warren, harris, klobuchar, we re told biden at some point to come out and tell people, get out to vote. this is important. that has nationalized this race. newsom has been talking about the impacts this could have nationally. and his primary republican opponent larry elder has also talked about the impact that him becoming governor of california, a blue state, what that could mean to the republican party. so the big thing for both of them is figuring out whether this nationalization strategy works and right now, as you can see by the numbers, it seems to be helping the newsom campaign. well, it seems to be. if you need anymore proof, i

part of it, are pushing for the highest possible number. and i think the times justify that given what we ve lived through over the last couple years and given that we ve just seen with hurricane ida, what we re seeing with the forest fires in california. we know that we have to respond to the climate crisis. in each one of those plans that we have in place is part of a massive job creation program for our country. and so yeah, i think the left is going to continue to push on part of that. and ultimately, out of this, my hope is that we can find a way in which we make the number significantly bigger than $1.5 trillion, and that all democrats can come together. i think the times call for it, and i think that democrats ultimately will come together to reach that goal. you ve served in the house in prior earlier in your career. the margin for nancy pelosi is you can count on a hand the number of votes she has to spare. i think i lose a number.
