Erie police detectives investigating the death of one person and the wounding of four others in a shooting at an eastside tavern on Wednesday night said video from the tavern showed a man opening fire inside the establishment after witnesses first heard gunshots being fired outside.
Multiple officers who reviewed the video identified the shooter as Erie resident Danny Lee Nicholson II, detectives wrote in Nicholson s criminal complaint.
Nicholson, 39, remained at large on Thursday afternoon. He is accused in a criminal complaint filed on Thursday morning of opening fire inside Bogey s Tavern, 2105 Buffalo Road, and wounding three people. The wounded people are not identified in the complaint.
