come to an end. the heat wave is about to ease of. and the record-breaking heat has been just too much for local nursing homes to handle. tonight, another home has been forced to move its residents. delivery heights health and rehabilitation center is in the process of moving 70 residents to another facility in the area. air conditioning units started to break down, and that forced patients to be moved to the cooler part of the building. the temperature we like for buildings to be is just not being reached, so we have decided to move our residents to our sister facility at this time. new air-conditioning units will be installed in the buildings. the nursing home says it notified the health department last week, but residents were not ordered out due to the availability of couture rooms. we have an update for you right now. the ravenwood facility at its remaining patients moved today after state officials learned had been operating without air- conditioning since sunday.
