Her entire life. A caretaker was also shot and suffered none life threatening injuries. A third apparently nonlife threatening injuries. A third person at the home was unharmed. You cant help but wonder. Reporter the randomness has neighbors shaken, the shooter who they describe as an elderly balding white male with gray hair and full beard, did not know the women. Those who knew lodato knew a good friend and neighbor. Shes a very nice lady and very were jettic. Reporter lodato had several friends in the neighborhood who were still too broken up to go on camera, but they tell us she was a music teacher who taught dozens of children from her home. Friends say shes the last person theyd expect this to happen to. Andrew brulet just moved into the neighborhood with his family and said this is the last place to expect a murder. Way over the white house fence appeared in court this afternoon. We learned it wasnt his first time being arrested at 1600 pennsylvania avenue. Kaye jackson is at the live desk with what happened in court. His name is dominic odisania. He is 23 years old and remains behind bars after a federal magistrate ordered him held without bond. He is apparently from bel air in maryland just north of baltimore. The entire incident was recorded by a tv news camera. He is charged with jumping the north fence of the white house about 7 15 last night. He was immediately apprehended by two security dogs and secret service agents. Authorities say he punched and kicked the animals as he was subdued. They were apparently bruised but returned to duty today according to the secret service. He has been charged with felonies for assaulting the dogs and making threats.
