STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Whenever a major snowstorm heads for Staten Island, children and some parents make the trek to the borough’s best hills to go sledding.
A massive snowstorm is approaching New York City on Wednesday into Thursday, and it’s expected to dump up to 12 inches of the white powder across the five boroughs, including Staten Island. The snow will be wet, heavy snow, AccuWeather senior meteorologist Tyler Roys previously told the Advance/SILive.com.
