At Alverstone and Langbridge, flooding of low lying land, footpaths and cycle tracks will continue. The EA does not expect property flooding, but the river could be 0.2m higher than recorded yesterday. By 1pm, onset of flooding to Golf Links and Moreton Common Road will occur, although today s weather should remain fairly dry. At Alverstone, the river is unlikely to peak until around noon, when it will be near the top of the river bank at the main road bridge. The level should begin to fall by 2pm.
