The mob that angrily stormed the Capitol last week was a spontaneous reaction to the words of an impulsive president, right?
Investigators are rethinking that assumption after taking a closer look at surveillance videos, according to a federal law enforcement official who told CNN that evidence increasingly points to premeditation. The FBI is investigating weapons and apparent tactics seen on the videos, as well as other signals that some may have left Trump’s rally early to get weapons to take to the Capitol.
The FBI has received thousands of tips about the riot that killed five people, none more damning than the suggestion that some members of Congress may have provided Capitol tours to individuals who later participated in the riot. Any legislators that may have done so could face federal criminal charges.

working the story. prince george s county police are looking for three suspects in connection with carjackings and two attempts in less than an mauer last sunday and one woman s was hour last sunday and one woman s was all caught on tape. the carjacking sprees last sunday in clinton, maryland, started here in the 9200 block of stuart lane. 11:23 p.m. three suspects steal a victim s toyota camry which ran out of gas, so they moved on to old branch avenue. 11:30 police say the same suspects tried to carjack a guy driving a jeep liberty but were unsuccessful. seven minutes later they set their sights on a woman in a 2007 charger in the drive-thru line at the hanger club. chef patel was waiting on her through the window. the young people came from the backside of the store on their feet and they just two people had a gun with them. reporter: the frightening carjacking was capture on the store s surveillance tape. you can see the suspects armed with guns approach the car
