Video and photos of a large piece of plane wreckage found on a Remote Island in the indian ocean are carefully being scrutinized. We should tell you from the start not all the experts agree. Investigators believe the debris in the images is consistent with a boeing 777. The same as the missing Malaysia Airlines jet. Nbcs tom costello has been working the story all day. More on this. Allison, weve got Severe Weather moving through chicago . We do. The good news is its not widespread Severe Weather. Weve got some severe thunderstorm watch boxes just off to the north. In chicago where the event is going on we have just one little severe thunderstorm warning. They did temporarily halt the concert just to be on the safe side. Its moving very fast at about 50 Miles Per Hour to the east. The worst of it, the large hail damaging winds, and the real heavy downpours, that should stay just north of grant park. But they will likely see a few light showers. They want to err op the side of caution. We know the lightning can spread outside of the main storm. Probably best bet just to make sure those folks do seek shelter.
