Area legislators weighed in last week on a proposal from Rep. Chad Perkins, R-Bowling Green, that would regulate intoxicating hemp products the same way the state regulates marijuana.
The auditor said lawmakers should put a cap on a policy that allows businesses to keep 2% of sales taxes if they re sent to the state “in a timely manner.”
The split between residents who foresee a local economy developing an entertainment industry and those who focus on social issues like crime are now moving to different places, leaving the
