shooters. there was only one shooter but there are had been reports of other people spotted. we do not know that actually there were three shooters although certainly that is what law enforcement keeps saying. i agree with ron. in this situation a description of a vehicle leaving and a number of armed people getting in that vehicle and leaving that easily could be law enforcement and be a mistake. the more important witness descriptions will be people that were in that room that say multiple people came in that room wearing body armor and opening fire, that s a whole different situation. who came in that room and started shooting more than one person and if witnesses, credible witnesses say that, that s what adds credence to the fact it was a multiple person attack. art, one of the things going on is we see hundreds and hundreds of people right now on the screen see them leaving the scene. many with their hands up in the
cnn law enforcement analyst tom fuentes and art roderick, former assistant director of u.s. marshals service. ron, let me start with you. you heard the head of the inland regional center which serves members of the disabled community in this area of california say that the shooting took place in this third building, the smaller building, the southern most building that they rent out. and she said she thought it had been rented out specifically by department of health personnel for the county. that certainly changes the mystery a bit. we were talking earlier about targeting potentially we thought all these disabled children had been targeted. this is instead targeting a government function of some sort, potentially. what strikes me is this, that you have dozens if not hundreds of police officers speeding to a scene where they expect to be in a gunfight. and what develops is the scene is to some extent stabilized.
