Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday is giving an update on the relief and recovery efforts one week after Hurricane Ian devastated parts of the state.
Gov. Ron DeSantis says there are 2.2 million utility customers without power throughout the state, mostly in southwest Florida. "Lee and Charlotte are basically off the grid at this point," he notes.
