take a listen. i m ashamed of what happened in the white house yesterday and i think it is a tragedy of the first proportion that a private corporation can be subjected to what i would characterize as a shakedown. in this case, a $20 billion shakedown. but, there s more. immediately after house minority leader john boehner and eric canter met with congressman barton and gave him a simple choice. apologize immediately or lose his position. well, here s what followed later in the day. if anything i ve said this morning has been misconstrued in an opposite effect, i want to apologize for that misconstrued misconstruction. well, nbc kelly oo donnell is on capitol hill. kelly, this is being called a gift to democrats. lots of calls for him to step down. this is not just from democrats, though. republicans are also jumping onboard, including congressman miller, republican from florida saying this is, you know, ridiculous. he should step down. so, what s the fallout here?
