A group of masked the gunmen have stormed a university compound in garissa. This is a town in the Northeastern Province of kenya. The gunmen attacked the university at around 5 30 local time. You see where it is in relation to nairobi there. The Security Forces are finding it difficult to get into the area itself because the militants are shooting at them from the roof within the compound. This is what we do know so far. At least 14 people are dead. Two of them guards shot at the university gates. Another 50 or so are wounded. There have been reports, as well, that many staff and students are still trapped inside the compound.
