it doesn t. greta: really? it doesn t. because these are people who are educated on the issues. and the candidates, not just looking at recent but they are going way back in the history. they are looking at who is the most conservative. and deciding who is the best candidate to agenda to ideas and solutions to turn the economy around and get us on track to get us out of this financial mess we re in right now. if you look at the most conservative does it lean away from governor romney because governor romney is thought of as moderate than other republican candidates. does that sort of lean it away from him? governor romney has done great things. he is a businessman. businessman before he was governor. he turn around salt lake city olympics. but the thing with romney is romneycare. people across the country don t want a mandate, regardless if it s a state mandate or federal mandate. they don t want a mandate.
as governor he appointed liberal judges to appease the democrats. as governor he raised taxes. as governor he put planned parenthood in romneycare. eventually you will get down to one conservative and governor romney. he will continue to get 25%. if he wins at 25%, this would be the weakest front-runner in history. after vowing to stay positive in his advertising, gingrich released this ad yesterday in new hampshire and south carolina. romney s economic plan, timid. parts of it virtually identical to obama s failed policy. timid won t create jobs. timid certainly won t defeat president obama. newt gingrich s bold leadership balanced the budget, created millions of new jobs. the gingrich job plan, rebuilding the america we love with build conservative leadership. i m newt gingrich and i

sean: i am talking about prior to that, dick. he has done it and tried to talk about romneycare and other ways. the most important thing is you have volters with no place to go in a romney-paul contes contest. therefore they swish around like water in the bottom of the boat. they tilt it one way and tilt it the other because they are loose. they could be for any of the candidates. the other point to bear in mind is that we are so focused on a winner, that winners win. and losers lose. so the big argument against gingrich and santorum is newt lost and rick won. and that becomes an argument since this really is not so much a primary, as it is an audition. sean: i agree to a certain point. and we expect that mitt romney, we always thought from the beginning he would do well in new hampshire and neighboring state. he has a home there. i would anticipate he wins new
experiment. it did well enough that i came in above both congresswoman bachmann and governor perry. and 45% of the ads in iowa were negative ads about me. so in some ways, it was a remarkable achievement. and the people of iowa deserve to be commended for looking beyond t. but i am suggesting a clear-cut choice in new hampshire, south carolina, florida between a massachusetts moderate who, raises taxes and puts tax-paid abortions in romneycare and puts planned parenthood in romneycare and puts liberal judges on the bench and compare if to a reagan conservative who is opposed to tax increases and helps pass tax cuts, who is for conservative judges and who is right to life. i think in republican primaries, that clear, direct, principled contrast can be very, very effective. greta: you raise the issue of the reagan conservative in
