watching senator sessions roll past the cameras and he was saying hey, i enjoy doing the job i m doing at the senate and voila, we have been reporting today that he s been nominated as a.g., we know governor huckabee, once a rival of donald trump s, wanted to be president, now he s bandied about perhaps as commerce secretary. we ll see what tomorrow brings. kevin sheridan, let me loop around to you. you know governor romney. we know he will meet face to face with mr. trump over the weekend. i just talked to ari fleischer. he s not buying that this is genuine interest on behalf of the trump team that this is show, he was saying to me. from the romney perspective, why do you think he s doing this. i think this is a good sign for the country, a good sign for things to come, a good sign for republican unity. i don t know exactly what the intentions are of donald trump in doing this meeting but i take it as a good sign. i think they have a lot to
approximate you let me pick three, i would have picked florida. that would be your three. bill? same question to you on hispanic number. i think we ve had six tracks. and five of the tracks have romney hitting florida and the one he s losing is by a point. i think these national numbers, when you re tied nationally, florida tends to be two or three points better than the national number for republicans. i now believe florida could easily go for romney. but you have to look at electoral votes. if i were governor romney, it s hard personally to count the 270 without a sweep, meaning florida, ohio, virginia. and then you do have to pick off a state and that state could be iowa. and i m a little concerned about nevada from a romney perspective. harry reid won that state because of high hispanic turnout. in 2010, hispanic turnout in nevada was higher than in 08. and i think that s potential problem and why i ve got to focus more on iowa and virginia. all right.
and other countries supply you with the 20% enriched uranium you need. you will get stopped doing that. that s the first step toward a larger deal. we had that deal. ironically, ahmadinejad wanted it. it s the supreme leader who didn t. i think an important point from the romney perspective is he accused the president and will tomorrow again, accused the president of going soft on the greenop decision movement. he loves it. why didn t you support the revolution. every green movement leader and activist in iran, i know them, i have talked to them and spent time with them, every single one of them is against the sanctions. where is his answer to that? to pick up on what you said, even if we turn around and say it s not our fault if the banking sanctions are hurting you, it s not our intention to make cancer medications less available, it s not going to
opportunity society and led by free enterprise . the president wants everything controlled by government and those policies have failed. senator thank you for joining us with your response today . giving the romney perspective. we appreciate it. have a good day. we love to hear from you at home. we are çyou if you think that the tea party will have an impact . someone needs to lead the charge and they are doing it . kim adds anyone with a sense of patriotism tea party or not will influence the election. yes, even more in this election cycle. keep those twitter responses coming in. after the break. we ll visit with a special person who has a special new s item to bring to you. and we are all excited about it. stay with us comprehend i m really going to miss you.
of the united states of america as opposed to manipulating the process from the outside. romney dropped out of debate but he did it in pure romney style. he apologized to donald trump in the process, claiming he had a scheduling conflict. no, i m not participating this that. i spoke with donald trump earlier today. i indicated we just can t make this debate. we are going to focus on the other two we ve got and on some campaigning. and what did he say? he understood my perspective and wished me well. this is how much trump understood the romney perspective. it would seem logical to me that if i was substantially behind in the polls, especially in iowa south carolina and florida, i would be participating in the debate. but i can also understand why governor romney decided not to do it. joining me now is mark mckenyon,
