america s influence is waning in the world and is mitt romney was mitt romney right when he said russia was our number one political geo political foe? so the president had a little bit of a reaction to that and that was his answer to call russia a regional power that really does not threaten the united states. jon: and he did not like the reference to the romney challenge. jenna: didn t seem that way, no. jon: polls show obamacare is not sitting well with the majority of americans. republicans are hoping they can translate that into a big win for themselves in november. a growing number of respected political analysts say that could happen. as for democrats in congress, this could be a case of deja vu. the hill newspaper reports obamacare s affect on the 2010 congressional elections saying, quote, obamacare helped catapult representative john boehner to
majority of the states will win. the romney challenge is to make sure his get out the vote effort maximizes every republican independent is for them. the obama campaign has been doing this a long long time. the thing i am fascinated by is every single national poll from ras muse ento gallup to george washington university political battle ground poll the fox poll are dead even. usually the person liked the most highest favorable rating wins. that s dead even. independents are dead even. it is one of these whose mott el is right. more seniors vote than young people the romney team wins. the romney message is up beat. the obama message is kind of negative. don t let these bad guys come in office again. with regard to these polls they weren t all in lock step
this guy still you said something about georgia ads. what was that? i was told last night by randy evans who is the national committeeman from georgia that there are more ads in georgia for obama with clinton in them than there are with obama in them. which makes sense. you know, bill clinton is the best political figure in terms of skill since ronald reagan. right. that s just a fact. right. and his ability to communicate, i thought his speech, which i had to watch, i actually didn t watch the obama speech. right. i watched the clinton speech. i thought it would be more creative, more interesting. and it turned out to be a lot more important. why was that speech so important? a lot of politician speeches are wall paper. that one mattered. i ll leap out here and then you take me. i think that the romney challenge in the debate is to reset the campaign from the bill clinton narrative. it s not the obama narrative.
