Doing focus groups for the last three years trying to understand what was going on with voters inside my own party, and one of the things i learned was that voters had reservations about donald trump, especially women, even if they voted for him. They did not like him, and a lot of their 2016 vote had more to do with disliking Hillary Clinton than liking donald trump. I have been thinking for a long time about how do you move those voters from Donald Trumps column in order to defeat him in 2020, and that is we found that is why we founded Republican Voters against trump, because we needed to hear from other Republican Voters who just could not do it anymore in terms of voting for donald trump.
