Business leaders in the Roaring Fork Valley gathered Wednesday morning in a forum hosted by the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA) where they learned how to better civically engage their businesses and their employees.
The Snowmass Village Town Council directed town staff to conduct an engineering study on a transit center proposal, slowly getting the ball moving after months of mulling over designs for a redevelopment of the Snowmass Mall transit depots.
After seeing proposals for new iterations of a Snowmass Mall Transit Center, the Snowmass Village Town Council will likely take on the task again, nearly a year after a transit center for the Mall was shot down by the Planning Commission and members of the public expressed concerns about construction.
In an effort to comply with state requirements, the Aspen Village Metropolitan District is in the process of planning the replacement of Aspen Village’s existing wastewater treatment facilities with a new, efficient plant with an estimated cost between $3 to $5 million.
