Rome Health has started working on a $45.7 million expansion project, and there are a few changes patients and the visiting public should be aware of.

SNAPSHOT: New Year baby at Rome Health

Rome Health announced the first birth of 2024. Baby Ezekiah was born on Jan. 1, 2024 at 12:51pm, weighing 7 lbs. 14 oz and measuring 19 inches long to parents Kalixia and Anthony of Rome. Baby Ezekiah and Mom are doing very well and will be going home soon.

Accused of pulling fire alarm at Rome Health, woman charged with felony

Police said Latoya L. Jenkins, 35, had been previously barred from Rome Health when she showed up at about 7 p.m. Dec. 12 for no legitimate purpose. Police said Jenkins started causing a disturbance at the hospital and the officers were en route. Jenkins then pulled the fire alarm at the hospital, authorities stated.
