Soldier’s bullet hospitalises17-yr-old boy
A young boy of 17 years was, on Saturday, January 23, 2020, shot in the stomach by a soldier who opened fire while chasing an alleged illegal timber lumber dealer.
Ayuba Mohammed, who unfortunately became a victim of ensuing circumstance while walking by the roadside, was rushed to the Salvation Army Hospital at Agona Duakwa.
Due to the severity of the injury, he was referred to the Tema General Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment, whereas the police have commenced investigations into the matter.

Checks by The Chronicle revealed that at about 8:45 hours GMT Saturday, a Corporal of the 64 Infantry Battalion of the Ghana Army, Seidu Asumah Bandah, who is now attached to the Forestry Task Force in Ajumako, went on monitoring duties.
