3 Bangladeshis nominated for posts of ICSID arbitrator, consultant 240 DHAKA, May 1, 2021 (BSS) – The Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has nominated three Bangladeshis for the prestigious posts of arbitrator and conciliator panel of the World Bank’s International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Former chief justice of Bangladesh Tafazzul Islam got the nomination in conciliator post and Dr Romana Islam, assistant professor at the Law Department of Dhaka University, and Barrister Moin Gani were nominated as arbitrators. It also stated that they are appointed for a period of six years extending to April 26 in 2027, said a release issued here.
