St Albans theatre company OVO has received £104,000 in funding from Big Issue Invest to improve facilities at the city's historic Roman Theatre of Verulamium.
The investment from Big Issue Invest will allow OVO to take on a long-term lease with the Roman Theatre site, which will not only allow them to expand their Roman Theatre Festival, but it will also allow them to invest in reusable infrastructure, such as a permanent stage, dressing room and bar.
