Archaeologists have unearthed a massive four-wheel Roman ceremonial chariot at a villa near Pompeii. The discovery comes nearly 2,000 years after the ancient city in southern Italy was buried.
The chariot is made of bronze and tin and it was reportedly intact when the excavators unearthed it. It was found along with wooden remains and an imprint of ropes, according to an announcement made by the Archaeological Park of Pompeii.
