President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the governments of Belarus and the Russian Federation have been instructed to work out a joint response to the occidental sanctions.
According to the “SB.Belarus Today” newspaper, during the talks in Sochi, Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin devoted a significant amount of time to the question of responding to the sanctions. “It was decided to instruct the governments to work out how we would react,” the state publication reports, citing Lukashenko’s words. “I ask, Roman Aleksandrovich, not to delay the resolution of this issue. This should all be reasonable,” Lukashenko noted.
