Caufield opened the scoring for the Badgers at 11:48 of the first period with his 20th goal of the season. On a feed from Ty Emberson and Linus Weissbach, Caufield’s initial shot was blocked by an OSU defensman, but he stuck with it to give the Badgers a 1-0 lead.
