Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier has confirmed he is taking legal action over claims that he made racist or insulting remarks about OGC Nice players while he was manager of the club last year.
Galtier, who faced the media on Friday ahead of his side’s fixture against Lens on Saturday, said in a statement that he was “shocked” by the allegations, which he denies, but said he had “confidence in the legal system of France”.
He said: “I cannot accept my name and my family’s name being tarnished in this way. I have therefore decided to take legal.
